NCSFA is the organization that focuses on fleet management for state and university fleets. Members of NCSFA are the primary decision makers representing state fleet offices in the Departments of Administration, Transportation and Universities and other agencies all across the country. These representatives come together for an annual conference and industry trade show and take part in webinars and roundtable discussions throughout the year.
On average, each state purchases about $21 million in fleet and fleet related products annually for a combined annual purchasing power of approximately $1 billion in new vehicle purchases. When states include fuel, parts and commercial services, the annual purchases rise to between $2 and $2.5 billion. Collectively, the combined states own fleet assets in excess of $14 billion and circulate over one million fuel purchasing cards.
